WHAT ARE THE FESTIVAL'S COVID-19 PREVENTION MEASURES AND PROTOCOLS?

The safety of our patrons, artists, and staff is our number one priority. As such, proof of a full COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test result, along with your ID, will be required to attend the 2021 Mempho Music Festival.

 

For patrons who are not fully vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 test result must be obtained within 48 hours of attending Mempho Fest.

 

If you plan to get vaccinated prior to attending Mempho Fest, the last day to receive the second shot of Pfizer or Moderna, or the single shot of Johnson and Johnson is Friday, September 17th.

We will be working closely with local and state health officials to ensure that our festival will be a safe and incredible experience for all in attendance. Any additional health and safety protocols will be announced on our social media channels and available on our website.

 

The risk of exposure to COVID-19 is possible at any public space where people are gathered. While attending Mempho Music Festival, you must follow all posted health and safety instructions. And, by attending Mempho Fest, you voluntarily assume all risks related to the potential exposure to COVID-19.

WHAT ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED?
  • No knives/weapons/guns/mace/pepper spray

  • No thrown objects

  • No tables

  • No camping or folding chairs

  • No laser pointers

  • No drones, remote control aircraft, cars or toys

  • No outside food or drink unless for specific medical conditions

  • No animals

  • No glass

  • No candles

  • No illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia

  • No fireworks, pyrotechnics, or paper lanterns

  • No coolers

  • No umbrellas

  • No musical equipment/instruments/airhorns/megaphones or other forms of amplification

  • No signs, flags or totems

  • No laser pointers

  • No large backpacks or purses larger than 14″ x 11″ x 5″

  • No solicitation of any kind, unauthorized vending, sampling, promotional items, flyers, or polling

WHAT CAN I BRING INTO THE FESTIVAL?
  • Blankets no larger than 8 x 10

  • Small purses, totes, and drawstrings no larger than 14″ x 11″ x 5″

  • Empty hydration packs or one empty refillable bottle

  • Small digital or disposable cameras

  • Sun block (non-aerosol)

  • Hula Hoops

  • Food for medical purposes only

WHAT ARE THE FESTIVAL HOURS?

Friday, Oct. 1 gates open at 3:00PM and close at 11:00PM

Saturday, Oct. 2 gates open at 2:00PM and close at 11:00PM

Sunday, Oct. 3 gates open at 2:00PM and close at 9:00PM

Gates times are approximate and are subject to change. Parking lots will open one hour prior to gates opening (2:00PM on Friday and 1:00PM on Saturday and Sunday.) Please check back later for artist set times.

DO YOU ALLOW RE-ENTRY INTO THE FESTIVAL?

No, re-entry will only be allowed for emergency purposes.

WHAT AGES ARE ALLOWED TO ATTEND MEMPHO?

All ages are allowed to attend Mempho Fest. However, due to safety and capacity restrictions, we do not offer any age-based discounts. All attendees are required to have a ticket regardless of age. 

IS THERE A PLACE TO FILL UP MY WATER BOTTLE?

Yes. We will have free hydration station(s) located in the festival grounds.

WHAT TYPES OF FOOD WILL BE OFFERED? 

We are currently accepting food vendor applications now until August 20. If you are interested in becoming a food vendor, please visit our contact page. Check back later for a list of all our delicious food vendors.

DO YOU HAVE RIDE SHARE PICKUP AND DROP OFF?

Yes. Please refer to the parking map for detailed drop off and pickup locations.

WHAT IS THE SMOKING POLICY?

Mempho Fest encourages a smoke free environment and asks that you respect the health of your fellow festival goers and smoke in designated smoking areas inside the festival.

WHERE DO I PARK?

Mempho Fest offers various parking options. There will be a designated parking area for VIP ticket purchasers, a prepaid parking area for GA ticket purchasers looking to park closer to the festival entrance, and a free parking area. 

IS THERE HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE PARKING?

Yes, handicap parking is located right outside the festival entrance.

CAN I BRING MY PET?

No, pets are not allowed at Mempho Fest.

WHERE DO I GO FOR MEDICAL HELP?

The medical and first aid tent will be easily accessible inside the festival and will be clearly marked. Check back soon for an exact location on our festival map. If you are in need of medical assistance, please notify a festival staff member immediately and remember to stay hydrated.

WILL THERE BE AN ADA ENTRANCE AT THE FESTIVAL?

Yes, there will be a clearly marked ADA entrance at the festival gates.

ARE THERE HANDICAP VIEWING AREAS?

Yes, there will be a raised ADA viewing platform. Please check back for a detailed location once the festival map is available.

IS THERE CAMPING ON SITE?

No, camping is not available at Mempho Fest.

IS THERE RV PARKING ON SITE?

No, RV parking and overnight vehicle parking is not allowed at Mempho Fest. The closest RV parking is at the Agricenter, www.agricenter.com/rvpark.
